A certified specialist who performs land measurements, determines boundaries, develops topographic plans, and provides geodetic support for construction.

A surveyor is a professional who performs land measurement work and provides precise geodetic information for various purposes. In Latvia, the surveying profession is regulated, and only certified specialists may independently perform cadastral surveying.

Main surveyor tasks:

Certification and qualification:
