Cadastre Number

A unique numeric code that identifies a real estate property or land unit in the Latvian cadastre system.

A cadastre number is a unique identifier assigned to each real estate property or land unit in Latvia. It serves as a "personal identification number" for real estate and is used in all official documents.

Cadastre number structure:

In Latvia, the cadastre number consists of 11 digits containing information about the object's location:

  • First 4 digits - municipality or city code
  • Next 3 digits - parish or city district code
  • Last 4 digits - land unit or property serial number

Example: 8001 001 0123 - Riga city, Central district, land unit No. 123

Cadastre designation:

In addition to the cadastre number, there is also a cadastre designation that contains additional information about the type of object (land unit, building, premises group).
