Cadastre Number
A unique numeric code that identifies a real estate property or land unit in the Latvian cadastre system.
A cadastre number is a unique identifier assigned to each real estate property or land unit in Latvia. It serves as a "personal identification number" for real estate and is used in all official documents.
Cadastre number structure:
In Latvia, the cadastre number consists of 11 digits containing information about the object's location:
- First 4 digits - municipality or city code
- Next 3 digits - parish or city district code
- Last 4 digits - land unit or property serial number
Example: 8001 001 0123 - Riga city, Central district, land unit No. 123
Cadastre designation:
In addition to the cadastre number, there is also a cadastre designation that contains additional information about the type of object (land unit, building, premises group).
